High School Rapists's Case Reignited with New Court Filing

The controversial plea deal that spared Oklahoma teen Jesse Butler from prison is now facing a serious legal challenge. After Butler pleaded no contest to 11 felony charges — including rape and strangulation — and received Youthful Offender status with probation instead of incarceration, one victim’s family is fighting back, filing a motion questioning how the case was resolved.
