Penn State has won double-digit games five times since 2016 but has yet to make the College Football Playoff. With the CFP expanding to 12 this season, is this the year the Nittany Lions finally break in? If you believe they’ll go over 9.5 wins, then you believe they’ll make the CFP.

The question is this: How excited will fans be if Penn State is still only the third-best team in the Big Ten? Would making the CFP change the calculation?
