Going through the allegations and media scrutiny was a difficult and harrowing experience. The seriousness of the allegations required a thorough investigation and it had a significant impact on public perception. It was a shock to go from focusing on my next start to being under scrutiny. During this time, I had to reflect on my own actions and make changes in my personal life. I learned the importance of having a support network of family, close friends, coaches, and teammates who believed in me and stood by me.
This experience made me realize the need to update my own internal software. I recognized that my focus on baseball and business had made me less attentive to my personal relationships and interactions. This lack of awareness made me vulnerable in certain situations. I realized the importance of being more selective and cautious with the people I connect with and making sure it aligns with my values and goals.
The media played a significant role in shaping public perception with the initial allegations. The imbalance of information made it challenging to defend myself, and the negative narrative took hold before the truth came out. However, I'm grateful to the people in my life, including teammates, coaches, and close friends, who stood by me and saw through the false allegations.
I've used this experience as an opportunity for personal growth and reflection. I've made adjustments to my personal life, actively seeking healthier relationships and being more selective in whom I connect with. Additionally, I'm focused on building a support network of people who have my best interest at heart. Despite the challenges, I'm determined to move forward, making positive changes, and staying focused on my goals and passions.

They highlight the value of having a purpose and something controllable to focus on, even in the face of adversity.
