Saddleback Church was recently disfellowshipped from the SBC by its Executive Committee because it ordained three women as pastors in 2021; this is in contradiction to scripture and to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Rick Warren wants Saddleback to be reinstated to the SBC at its annual meeting this June 11-12 by a vote of the messengers. This will likely surprise you, but I agree with Rick Warren. Saddleback should be reinstated to the SBC. This podcast explains why.
