Early on in my charismatic history, I understood that the Ephesians 4 gifts were offices that God instituted to govern the local church. Later on In the journey, I stumbled upon Alan Hirsh’s work, suggesting that the Ephesians 4 gifts were more like personality types that motivated us and painted our interpretation processes. After that my reformed charismatic buddies tried to convince me that the Ephesians 4 gifts were graces given by God detached from our personalities or our participation within the local communities. 🤔🤔🤔
