In the opening verses of Chapter 10, Paul signals his grave concern for the Corinthian pride, and how the old vices of idolatry, sex, and complaint can hamstring their Christian service. Yet in verse 13, he explains temptation, and offers hope, explaining the pathway God offers through temptation.
