Zohran Mamdani’s historic win as New York City’s first Muslim mayor member of the Democratic Socialists of America has gotten a lot of reaction from all political sides. Mamdani was just one of nearly twenty other Democrats that ran pushing socialist policies. Recent polls finds two-thirds of Democrats view socialism favorably, while fewer than half say the same now of capitalism.
