How Much You Need: At least 1 gallon per person per day — more in hot climates or during high activity.

Finding Water: Natural sources (rivers, lakes, rainwater), household sources (water heater, outdoor spigots), and creative options (dew collection, roof runoff).

Purifying Water: Boiling, filters, purification tablets, and UV devices — always have backups.

Storing Water:

Short-Term: Store 2 weeks' worth per person in food-grade containers.
Long-Term: Use 55-gallon drums or water bricks and rotate every 6–12 months.
