King of the Court Is Pro Pickleball Boring? | PPA San Clemente Recap, Amateur Woes & Tyson the Hypocrite - Ep.7
Tyler and Jimmy join forces once again for another King of the Court episode.
With PPA San Clemente fresh on their minds, the guys recap some of the highs and lows of the tournament and discuss why the pro game is becoming stale. Does a pairing exist that can finally take down ALW and the Johns bros? Tyler and Jimmy attempt to answer that question and go in depth on what it would take to beat the top dogs. They also touch on the PPA’s treatment of amateurs and why PPA amateur tournaments in conjunction with pro events might soon be a thing of the past.
Jimmy provides plenty of tea, but not the kind that Tyler needs (apologies for all of the throat clearing). Jimmy thinks that Tyson is a hypocrite and would like him to stop talking out of both sides of his mouth. The boys talk line calls and cheating when not playing on a streamed court, and recap a crazy women’s back-draw match that happened over the weekend.
