Eye health!! Is an important topic! Experts agree visual health plays a key role in helping the brain function properly! As an optometrist your role is to detect defects in vision, signs of injury, ocular diseases (diseases of the eye) or abnormality, and problems with general health….. Listen in the conversation I got to have with long time friend and Dr of Optometry about the importance of eye health on the body, what we can do to improve our vision and the role exercise has in supporting it! A bit about Dr. Vergos ! He has been married for 31 years and has 3 children Kosta, Frankie and Nicholas with wife Susie. He went to Carmen High School, and that’s where her meet his wife Susie. He enjoys golf, tennis, and bowling. He loves all sports. He is a long-time suffering fan of the Detroit Lions. He speaks Fluent Greek. He is very happy serving his many patients. He loves his profession and is a strong advocate for Optometry. Many of his previous patients have become optometrist, even his son! Education: Hope College, Bachelor of Science Degree, 1982-1986 Graduate of Illinois College of Optometry, 1986-1990 Diagnostic and therapeutically licensed in the state of Michigan and is able to prescribe oral medication.
