Gianna "Gigi" Caruso is a hearing loss advocate and co-founder and CEO of the luxury swimwear, activewear, and loungewear brand GIGI C. Gigi founded the line at just 16 years old. The brand has cultivated fans including the likes of Julianne Hough, Irina Shayk, Candice Swanepoel, Eva Longoria, Naomi Watts, and more. Born with bilateral moderate to moderately severe sensorineural hearing loss, the fashion entrepreneur has been a champion for the hard-of-hearing community through her work with various organizations. In May 2024 Gianna launched her own foundation, “Hear With You,” commemorating the 10th anniversary of when she received her Phonak Lyric hearing aid, which also falls during National Speech-Language-Hearing Month. The foundation is dedicated to making a wide range of resources, community events, education, and treatment opportunities more accessible to individuals and families affected by hearing loss. Additionally, “Hear With You” aims to increase awareness of hearing health amongst the general population and work to empower healthcare providers to include preventative hearing screenings in routine practices to ensure earlier identification, diagnosis, and treatment.
