100: Too Diverse to Fit in Your Box - Sandra Hunter
About this Episode
In this episode Heather is joined by award winning author, world traveler, professor, and life coach Sandra Hunter. Sandra’s stories have won the 2018 Lorian Hemingway Short Story Competition, 2017 Leapfrog Press Fiction Award, and the 2016 Gold Line Press Chapbook Prize. She is a 2018 Hawthornden Fellow and the 2017 Charlotte Sheedy Fellow at the MacDowell Colony. This conversation will take us many places but most of all humbles us and reminds us that as humans we are wildly diverse and don’t belong in the stereotypical boxes others try to shove us in.
Call to Action: To enhance critical thinking and reground yourself Sandra says breath deeply for 5 rounds of deep inhale/exhale - inhale for 4 seconds then exhale for 4 or 5 rounds of 4 second box breathing
5 Words Sandra would use to describe herself in this moment of life: Strong, Compassionate, Heart-Centered, Authentic, and Energetic.
