Ralph Petrella joins us today to discuss his transition into a new position, and how the first year of development has progressed. After a brief introduction, Ralph dives into what this year has been like and how they’ve been moving forward thought the year developing their athletes and building relationships. We then discuss the role of his mentors, how each one has impacted him, and examples of how he looks back at lessons he learned form them at this new position, both in training and developing relationships. He then breaks down how he’s working with his redshirt athletes, and how they are monitoring their athletes daily in practice including how that will impact how they will prepare their athletes in the off season.
