Our guest today is Alex Delaney, who has just recently joined us here at Athlete’s Authority as a part of her rehabilitation. Alex plays in the WNBL and recently won a championship with Canberra Capitals. Prior to joining the WNBL, she spent 4 years of Div 1 College in Brooklyn. It was incredible to have Alex both share their insights into transitioning from a collegiate athlete in the US to a professional back here in Australia. 

 

In this episode, Alex discusses the process of joining a college, the day in the life of a student athlete, NCAA rules and the hallmark NIL deal that started this year, the process of joining the Canberra Capital’s in the WNBL and a whole lot more.
