David Stearns speaks, Carlos Mendoza meets the media, and Mets pitchers and catchers are on the field

Connor Rogers and Joe DeMayo drop the latest episode of The Mets Pod presented by Tri-State Cadillac, as snow falls up north, but Mets pitchers and catchers are under the sun and on the field down south in Port St. Lucie. Connor and Joe talk about the scenes from early spring training, including position players who are already working out alongside the hurlers and the backstops. The guys also react to comments from Mets president of baseball operations David Stearns about the future free agency of Pete Alonso, look at how new manager Carlos Mendoza interacts with the media, and discuss the deal that Jorge Soler signed with San Francisco.
