Tricia is the author of Friendship and Virtue Ethics in the Book of Job (Cambridge University Press, 2019). In this episode, we discuss a number of things including: the significance of friendship in Job, what the friends get right and wrong, connections between Job and the Psalms, the friends’ low view of humanity, and their emphasis on technique in relating to God.
