Chelsea score and taste victory with League Cup triumph over Brighton

Well, this is a foreign feeling...

Matt Davies-Adams has got The Athletic's Liam Twomey and Dom Fifield alongside him to look back on the goal (!) and win (!) over good friends Brighton in a feisty League Cup encounter at Stamford Bridge.

The question is - can they keep it going down the road at Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Monday night? There's a preview of that derby and plenty to ponder in terms of team selection. Up top? Right back? Left back? We try and figure out what system Mauricio Pochettino might employ against the Whites.

The WSL is finally back - with Chelsea Women getting their title defence underway against Tottenham on Sunday.
