Deep dives
Pre-existence and Creation
Before our existence on earth, our souls resided in two realms: the realm of pre-existence (Al-Mafr) and the realm of graves (Al-Mal-Barzah). These realms are both shrouded in darkness, illuminated only by blessed decree or deeds. Every individual's story is meticulously recorded in heavenly tablets, detailing from grand historical events to the most minute emotions.
Decree and Free Will
Allah's decree is meticulously documented, yet subject to change based on supplications and actions. While the ultimate decree remains constant in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz, daily and yearly writings can adapt. Despite predestined knowledge, individuals are urged to perform good deeds as their choices and actions define the fate recorded on the Day of Judgment.
