Sometimes we try to do too much.  And because we try to do too much, we miss the target on what really matters.  We miss the “one thing” that’s the only thing that actually matters.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worked with or talked to someone who was so excited about the new daily routine they’d implemented, or the books the y were reading, or the other things they were doing… and yet their business was struggling.

I see this all the time.

The problem is, they’re missing the point of that morning routine.  They’re missing the point of the education.  They’re missing the point of the habits they’re working to create.

Don’t get me wrong… you need those things to be successful.  But sometimes I see people turning the habit or the routine into the “thing,” when it should really just be helping you get the thing.

And if you’re thinking to yourself, “Well, I don’t do that; I focus on what needs to get done and do it,” then you definitely need to listen to this… because sometimes these distractions are more insidious than we might think.  Let me show you what I mean… and what you can do about it.
