Not Your Sassy Black Lady with Dulcé Sloan
This week I'm joined by one of my best friends, Dulcé Sloan to have a very important conversation about being a black woman in the United States in 2017. I have been wanting to have her as a guest since before I even launched the podcast but our schedules hadn't worked. After recent events, I had to find a way to squeeze this conversation into our busy lives because it needs to be heard.
Listen as we discuss everything from silly stereotypes to the very frightening and heart breaking reality that black Americans have to face in the US. We talk about why Black Lives Matter is so important.
This is a long one, so grab some snacks and sit back and get ready to go on a roller coaster of emotions as Dulcé shows us all the different sides that come with being a black woman.
We laugh, we cry, we laugh some more. And we continue on and on. Dulcé doesn't make time for everyone's questions so I am very grateful she took time to answer all my ignorant queries.
Follow her all over the web!
Share it with your friends because everyone's a little bit ignorant sometimes.
