Amy chats with Leigh Blashki, Leigh is an IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, Yoga Australia Senior Registered Teacher, AAYT Registered Yoga Therapist, Certified iRest Teacher and has qualifications in Counselling and Health Sciences. Leigh has practiced yoga and meditation since 1968. He was the Founder of the Australian Institute of Yoga Therapy and has trained yoga teachers since 2000. He is often described as the ‘father of yoga therapy in Australia’.
Amy and Leigh talk about Leigh’s decision to fully retire and how it feels to get to that point, making changes and the difficulty that comes with it, delinking from his professional role in Yoga and much more.
