171: Are you holding your child hostage?

I use to hate Mother's Day. So many expectations from others and myself on what exactly the day should look like. This left me miserable, angry and completely out of touch with how I wanted to feel.

These days I see Mother's Day as an opportunity to celebrate myself and the other women who have made an impact on my life, no strings attached.
