Sho Baraka is a rapper and an activist. Over the last decade, he’s released several records and mixtapes, launched the “And” campaign – an effort to bring together people who care about social justice, urban poverty, the unborn, and family values – spoken out about Donald Trump, and had albums banned from at least two Christian bookstore chains. On today’s show, we hear his story, how he’s navigated the controversies, and how he came back to music when he almost left it for good.
