It is discouraging to see people we hold in high regard fall away from the faith. How do we recover when giants of the faith fall?
In this episode, Brody shares a time when someone he held highly fell away from the Lord, and he walks through how the believer should respond when this happens. There are faithful men and women who finish strong. When someone falls away, let’s allow it to refocus our mission.
You will not look back on your life and think you pursued the Lord perfectly. Hebrews 11 talks about men and women who weren’t close to perfect yet they were still found faithful. They had major failures in their lives, but God used them anyway.
When someone falls, intensify the fight. Refocus the mission. Pursue the Lord and proclaim the Gospel. We are called to persevere until the end. We will do it because He that is in us is greater. Let’s pick each other up and encourage one another. As we kick off a year that’s already been crazy, let’s continue in faithfulness to the Gospel.
