Our guest this week is Alissa de Carbonnel. Alissa has over a decade of experience reporting for Reuters and other media agencies and this has included reporting from high-risk areas in Ukraine, Georgie and the Northern Caucasus. Her last post with Reuters was as the European Security correspondent where she focussed on political violence, disinformation and counter-terrorism policy and she also included energy relations with Iran and Russia in her work. Prior to that, Alissa was a Moscow based political correspondent and she's now the deputy programme director for Europe and Central Asia for the International Crisis Podcast.
