There is this idea that we have to really push and grasp and ask for charity in order to receive it. The idea that it is a gift from God that we need to ask for...otherwise we won't receive it.
And if charity never fails and it's the best and most important attribute of God, you probably want this attribute. But if you don't feel worthy of it, or don't know how to ask for it, then can we ever get it?
