Opening Session - Tabula Rasa January 2022 Online Retreat with David Hoffmeister and Frances Xu

Our topic for this month's retreat is 'Vision for a New World,' and Jesus is quite specific with his choice of words, so when he talks about Vision, he's not talking about it in the way that most human beings speak of Vision and a new world. He's not talking about the Vision that the ego has associated with the body and its Vision for a better world.

What he means by Vision is always in the present moment. There is no such thing as a future vision for Jesus. He states that the world that you perceive through your five senses must be denied because it's costing you the sight of another world. A world that you experience in your mind. So you can see how radical this is. And he's teaching us in the course that our true Vision, the Vision of Christ, is not perceptual, so we don't have to try to figure out a better-looking world, isn't that good? So we can let go of trying to manifest a better world in the future. That's big.
