The Importance of Keeping the Original Founders Active
There's a high correlation between long run success and presence of the original founders. And I think that's very true in the tech world. You go through these eras where sometimes the founders are fantastic managers and executives, but other times they're visionaries. So you need to make adjustments from time to time. But I've always felt that keeping the founders involved and enhancing them is yields the best long run results.
