Your individual mind is a field of knowing, yes. All there is to your mind is this field of knowing. Your own mind appears in your dream as objects that are incentient. Objects that have no consciousness, like trees. You experience trees in your dream and those trees are not made out of knowing. They don't seem to know. When you wake up in the morning you realize that those trees were made out of pure knowing. But in the dream, the tree did not know its experience.
