Tesla's New Drive Unit for Model Y Performance and Long Range
China State Planner, the National Development and Reform Commission said that they have been cautious about approving new EV production plans by all automakers. This is because of concerns about over-capacity and deepening price war launched by Tesla according to executives at rival companies and analysts. Musk told a small group of Tesla staff that he saw positive progress in discussions about the expansion, possible expansion in China without elaborating. So we'll see if anything further develops there.
