I'm an assistant varsity coach, and i realize that our head varsity coach is not one to coach up his assistante. When i askd him about his mentality when he calls certain sets, and why he makes in game adjustments the way he does, he totally blows me off. I don't mind doing the extra stuff. But it's frustrating what he acts like. He tells me he's too busy for five minute conversation. There's a head coach i've got to know in a few districts, a few districts over, who seems like a good dude and someone who wants his assistants to be the best they can be,. And will coach them up to become better. This
