The Challenges of Malnutrition

The available data that would enable you to estimate how often do children who are malnourished die and what is the treatment effect of giving them high calorie food is all from observational studies. The problem was that they weren't randomized trials where some people were not, not treated for it. We know that insufficient food ultimately leads to death. And so we're starting with that as a very important anchor and an overall assessment of this. Yeah. But then we're then using that data to form the estimate that we need because ultimately, our job is not just to say, you know, it would be better than not if everyone retreated from malnutrition, which is obviouslyTrue.
