The Industrial Technological Society Is a One Away Ratchet Ant
Technology is a one away ratchet ant that cannot be contained or reformed. The system modifies human behaviour to fit its needs, rather than satisfying human needs. Efforts to reform or restrain the system are useless. Lasting social reform on even minor matters not integral to the system has always largely proved impossible. Altogether, this means revolution, a gordian knot solution that has the side benefit of being inspirational to those who must take the action.
