The Barrier to Entry of an Amex Card
Evan Spiegel: I'm a proud American Express card user, but I don't know if I want to be sequestered with other Amex card holders. A friend of ours used to work with Alicia Keys and there was an Alicia Keys concert at the Ace Hotel, downtown LA, only for Amex people. The barrier to entry of that card is not high enough to be acting like that. He says he's bummed he'll have to fly to catch him at Red Rocks because they're doing it in Maryland.
