Vitalik Buterin: A certain subset of techniques, maybe like restaking that use the Ethereum validator set and Social Consensus for another purpose should be discouraged. And he's basically saying social consensus is sacred. Don't touch it. If you're a big tap on top ofthereum, if there's a failure, we're not going to fork around you. Same thing for restaking. So those are the kinds of examples where you don't want that to happen in the smart contract world.
