The Importance of Attention Economy in Journalism

I yearn for a time when everyone just understood that like the news is boring and sensible and we have to consume it anyway. There's also this thing that people are doing where they're saying, well, you know, bias exists everywhere,. And this station is really biased. But hey, You know, the serious news folks, they've got their biases too. So really it's all just the same and I can watch whatever makes me feel good. Yes. Like it's at its best, it's deeply ignorant and at its worst, it's deliberately misinterpreting and misunderstanding what is actually at work. Right.
