Is There Virtue in Rousseau?

Rousseau knows what's appealing to his audience. And he is appealing to their taste, is basically what Burke is saying. When someone, when a preacher of viciousness like Rousseau comes along, it can't really get a foothold because people kind of look at it and just sneer and laugh. So in his in his assessment of Rousseau, it's the mixture that makes him especially pernicious. That's what would make him persuasive as well. It's like, Oh, did you see? There's enough virtue to lure you in. And so then even virtue is has become a tool advice.
