Alexandra soca explores what is called liminal europeanests, in which she looks at east west nobility and different shades of whiteness. She investigates how domestic workers from poland who migrate to spain are part of quite ambiguous webs of privilege and inferioration. So it's this kind of ambiguity which is part of this new way of thinking, which i think the concept of boderlands can capture and direct our attention to.
