The most innocent explanation is laziness, or like really poor job performance. If you don't believe that this was just, you know, again, laziness or incompetence, well, then someone didn't want anyone to know that he was shot and wanted this whole thing to just go away. They searched the water again after this new cause of death was determined, and they found a gun registered to david in the water six feet from where his body was found. This is the same gun that was missing from his office. So i couldn't find any detailed reports of exactly how he was fo or if there was no current or anything that would have moved it,.
