I don't think it's as simple as saying they hate us because of our democratic values and our freedoms. It was a much more o hard calculus, politically, by alcida that they were trying to strike against the united states. They would say, you have an obligation, a oa, religious obligation, to help us fight the americans,. tring to drive them out of our country. And that's how they're able to recruit people with a real religious message - particularly when it comes to recruiting or developing suicide bombers.
