Helen Meno: A threat of the sense of mortality is very strong in helen's work. Because she died so young, it looks sort of prophetic, as if she new a lot of her work has got this sense that nothing now will ever last. And how do you think she reinvented the body and art? Well, for one thing, she made this very strong claim that women should display themselves, however beautiful they were. Sor of face up to your incarnation, to incarnation being itself of mutability.
