The Importance of Knowing Your Biases
We've only got five stars. We have to encourage people to leave us reviews, you know, flattering, insulting, whatever you want. You can say the meanest things you want, but say it underneath those five stars and we will shut you out. Decoding the gurus is the perfect antidote. The title is love it. But when these voices first appeared, I enjoyed their apparent commitment to objective truth in a way that was being destroyed elsewhere by the rise of populism in the internet. Tim watched in horror as the varying degrees they failed to all the same pitfalls they claimed to be calling out. Now my biases are no doubt leading me to the fence of Sam Harris.
