I think the movie plays his arrogance as a virtue. I think it plays his womanizing as no big deal. There's a clear villain established who was like trying to do him dirty. And all he was ever trying to do was just try to do the science. Like it just wants to make a bomb that can kill all of human race. Just wants to see what it was. Let the man make the bomb. To paraphrase Aaron Sorkin, which this movie very much does. Yes. "Let Oppenheimer be Oppenheimer" is out now on Blu-ray and DVD.
