The Romans Used Education, Pop Culture and Encouragement to Encourage the Britons

With wonders like these, and with a healthy amount of fear for roman power, the aristocracy began to spend more time in roman settlements. However, just because you have a lot of britons living in roman tyle buildings doesn't suddenly make them roman. So what do you do? Well, the romans used a careful mix of education, pop culture and encouragement. The britons were encouraged to be good roman subjects, and, if they were lucky, good roman citizens. Most subjugated britons wanted to be citizens. After all, it allowed a wide variety of privileges and also a good number of protections from abuses that non citizens were forced
