The Giants traded up from 8973 to pick 128 in the third round. The move was seen as a bold one by some, but it shows Joe Shane's confidence and his front office's conviction that they need players at specific positions of need. This draft class thinned out much earlier than any glass trap draft class before according to NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah. But once you get past those blue chips, it is very much so a crapshoot.
