The Self-Inflicted Branding Problem in the UX Industry
I think a lot of this goes back to the UX industry kind of having like a branding problem and maybe not self-inflicted, but opposed, imposed upon by these boot camps. Who tout and claim that do XYZ and you can get hired at Google and make $100,000 in 24 weeks or 12 weeks right? So I find like that a lowering factor of it. And then they end up working like 14, 16 hour days because they work at Google and they're on the Google bus for two hours back and forth. They have to work and it they basically their life is. And I think you get to a point in life where you got to separate work in life
