We don't choose a virtue according to what we want to grow in. What's the most excellent thing for us in the state in life is really the key here, right? The apostles were ordained to preach and spread the gospel. They made their decisions on which virtue they were going to preach the gospel was their vocation. These basic relationships that structure our lives, that's what comes first. That's what measures how we act.
