The Importance of Living Water

Jesus' self-gift, his pouring out of his life for mankind compared to water, makes its recipients into springs of living water themselves. For the ascension, it would no longer be possible to perform such a magnificent act as Mary performed upon Jesus' physical body. Yet, Jesus still has a body on earth, toward which we can still express our love and magnificence. Like living water, it does not stand still or stagnate, but exuberantly flows from each to his neighbor.
