The United States has announced plans to stop funding overseas fossil fuel projects. But energy expert vigiorama chandron says this will do little to reduce emissions and much to entrench poverty in places like sobsahar and africa. She argues that it is the height of climate injustice to impose restrictions on poor countries there are least responsible for world's climate challenges.
