The Ridgeway in Buckinghamshire
The Ridgeway runs from Avbury and Wiltshire to Ivinghoe Beacon in Buckingham shire. Some people walk it as a sort of a week's holiday effectively, stopping on route at bed and breakfast or camping. Other people turn sections of it into perhaps a weekend or even a day walk. You can really commune with nature because you follow the big white line in front of you.
